Intrepid
class landing gear (1/670)
Landing gear on the Intrepid class starship ensure
stability on the ground while dampening fields support the enormous weight
(around 700,000 metric tons).
However, this set
of struts is made from a strong resin that easily handle the weight of the
Revell/Monogram kit without the need for some energy fields.

The picture below show a close-up of the rear/left strut fully extended (front struts are shorter)
